Focus day Telemedicine - AVATAR in the context of data protection and security

The telemedicine focus day organized by the wecare agency took place in Apolda on 8 June 2024. With specialist presentations and discussion panels, the event offered numerous opportunities to gain an overview of the latest developments and solutions in healthcare in Thuringia and beyond. Telemedical solutions were presented that can make healthcare more efficient, accessible and individualized.
In her presentation, network coordinator Dr. Eike Dazert addressed the importance of data protection and data security in the AVATAR project and in the context of the digital transformation of the healthcare system. The participants gained insights into the secure handling of sensitive health data.
